ASIA MODEL FESTIVAL
ASIA MODEL FESTIVAL is the global cultural content platform where all Asians are welcome to participate and exchange their experience. Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, the Asian Model Festival is a key icon and global cultural content platform that represents Asian pop culture and arts industry, promotes Asian models, fashion, and beauty-related industries all over Asia and beyond, as well as introduces global brands and artists to Asia.
The Asia Model Festival consists of three main events: Face of Asia, Asia Open Collection, and Asia Model Awards.
FACE OF ASIA
FACE OF ASIA is one of the main events in Asia Model Festival.
FACE OF ASIA is a platform for Models, Representing Asia And Participating In The Asian Model Road Competition, A Venue For Star Discovery, Compete Fiercely For The Title Of Asia’s New Best Models. Winners Of Regional Events In Their Countries Are Not Just Models Who Wear Clothes And Walk The Runway, But The Stars Who Can Attract Attention As Entertainers.
FACE OF BANGLADESH
‘FACE OF BANGLADESH’ is the first ever global platform for Bangladeshi talented youth of the fashion and modelling industry.
Face of Bangladesh is a modeling competition held in Bangladesh to identify individuals who represent the country's beauty, culture, and values. Similar to other beauty pageants held around the world, Face of Bangladesh aims to showcase the diversity and talent of Bangladeshi individuals and provide them with a platform to pursue opportunities in the modelling and entertainment industry.
Participants in Face of Bangladesh may compete in various categories such as evening gown, swimwear, talent showcase, and interviews, among others. The winner of the competition is often crowned as the "Face of Bangladesh" and may receive prizes, opportunities for modeling contracts, and exposure in the fashion and entertainment industry.
Face of Bangladesh not only celebrates beauty but also emphasizes on qualities such as intelligence, confidence, and social awareness. It serves as a platform for contestants to raise awareness about social issues and engage in charitable activities
Winners of Face of Bangladesh will participate in the ‘Asia Model Festival -Face of Asia’ in South Korea along with Asia’s 27 countries’ top models.

Face of Bangladesh was held as part of Arka Fashion Week. Zarif Shabab, Dil Afroz Torsha and Aklima Atika will be representing Bangladesh in Face of Asia at the Asia Model Festival in Korea in 2024.

Through the “Face of Bangladesh 2019” which is the first competition searching for new models in Bangladesh, 4 out of 20 participants (winner and runners-up: Mehedi Hasan Polash, Shahela Mojumder Nidhi, Maruf Rahman Tonmoy and Shirin Akther Sheela) got the opportunity to go and participate in “Asia Model Festival 2019” held in Seoul, Korea.

Model Star Award 2022
In this Asia Model Awards 2022, Shirin Akhter Shela of Bangladesh was awarded the Model Star Award. It was a very proud moment for Shila since she started her career from this platform in 2019, that year she was the winner of Face of Bangladesh.

In this Asia Model Awards 2023, Jessia Islam of Bangladesh has been awarded the Model Star Award. Jessia told Prothom Alo, 'It is a "big deal" for me to participate in such an international competition. And it has become possible for Azra Mahmood.
